R.I.T.E of Passage

Reimagine. Identity. Transition. Evolve

The R.I.T.E of Passage is proudly supported by the Australian Communities Foundation in partnership with Paul Ramsay Foundation and is tailored to meet the needs of male Pasifika (Polynesian, Melanesian, Micronesian) youth or adults released from custody and are being reintegrated back to community. As a wraparound service it will focus on the immediate needs of the individual and family to equip them to be positive contributors to their community.

We are grateful for our major sponsors who allow us to support these young people through a culturally safe and strengths based initiative to help them become contributors to their families and society.

Community Based Organisation Partners

We have partnered with a Community Based Organisation to deliver “The RI.T.E of Passage” program. Joe Laga’aia founder of the The Catalyst House (TCH) and Gabriel Tohilima founder of Chosen Ambition Mentoring (CAM) have both worked extensively in the youth justice space and come with a wealth and knowledge and experience. Both organisations are based in Melbourne's West and its aim is to assist and empower people to fulfill their potential. Our key focus is the creation of programs to address all aspects of an individuals’ health and well-being to treat the whole self. TCH & CAM have mainly worked with our young people and adults who are in the Victoria justice system and one of our specialties is working with our Maori & Pacific Island Community.
